United Way of Southwest New Mexico’s Community Impact Fund helps those most vulnerable through program grants to qualifying health and human service agencies in Dona Ana, Grant, Luna, Otero, Sierra and Hidalgo counties.

Why give to the Community Fund?

The Community Fund provides an amazing opportunity to LIVE UNITED! Your donation is combined with the donations of many, creating a deep resource pool that helps ensure a robust network of health and human services, addressing the basic and more complex needs of individuals in our community. Together, Community Fund donors support progress toward:

EDUCATION

UWSWNM supports focued programs that work to reduce barriers and create meaningful learning opportunites from prenatal to career. The education programs that are funded through the community impact fund, work to create a community where all children are born healthy, develop on track and are fully prepared to enter the educational system. Where all students progress successfully through elementary school and middle school and graduate high school within 5 years, ready for school, life or work. Where all individuals have the opportunity to utilize some form of post-secondary education, from trade schools to 4-year universities.

BASIC NEEDS

Basic human needs impact every aspect of a person’s daily life. UWSWNM works to support programs and organizations who work to improve the quality of life for all people.
