Community Impact Fund

What is the Community Fund?

United Way of Southwest New Mexico’s Community Fund helps those most vulnerable through program grants to qualifying health and human service agencies in Dona Ana, Grant, Luna, Sierra and Hidalgo counties.

Why give to the Community Fund?

The Community Fund provides an amazing opportunity to LIVE UNITED!

Your donation is combined with the donations of many, creating a deep resource pool that helps ensure a robust network of health and human services, addressing the basic and more complex needs of individuals in our community.

Together, Community Fund donors support progress toward:

EDUCATION

A community where all children are born healthy and develop on track and are fully prepared to enter the educational system.

And where all students progress successfully through elementary school and middle school and graduate high school within 5 years, ready for school, life or work.

And where all individuals have the opportunity to utilize some form of post-secondary education, from trade schools to 4-year universities.

HEALTH

A community where all individuals and families receive affordable and equitable health services, live in a safe environment, exhibit healthy behaviors and live in a health-promoting environment.

INCOME

A community where all individuals and families have adequate and sustainable resources to support their needs and have the skills, knowledge, and relationships they need to effectively increase and manage their income.

And where vulnerable populations are safe, socially engaged, and live with dignity.
