THE COMMUNITY IMPACT FUND
The Community Impact Fund is one of the ways that United Way of Southwest New Mexico makes strategic investments to drive measurable, sustainable change in Basic Needs, Education and Financial Stability in our region.
The Community Impact Fund is composed of contributions from donors who entrust UWSWNM with combining their gifts with the donations of others to invest in dynamic approaches and proven programs to create lasting, positive change. The process of investing includes an informed review by dedicated volunteers who help ensure the most positive impact with the dollars raised.
Please note: The actual dollars invested during the 2021-2022 Community Impact Fund are contingent upon our 2020 campaign results.
UWSWNM is working to ensure nonprofit organizations maintain stability and continue to meet the needs of the communities they serve during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, we asked our nonprofit partners for input regarding your needs to assist with the planning of the 2021/2022 Funding Cycle. The feedback was clear in that the overwhelming need is for operating support. UWSWNM continues to be dedicated to meeting the needs of our partners by encouraging applicants to request funding for their operating/administrative costs.
