Fiscal Responsibility

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY

United Way is the best way to make sure that a network of quality human services exists for those in southwest New Mexico who are trying to change their lives for the better. We call part of the effort the Community Impact Fund.

By combining their gifts, Community Impact Fund donors create a deep resource pool to create comprehensive solutions to complex problems. We believe that if you examine all of the alternatives, you will find that United Way is the best way to help the most people.

When you give to the United Way of Southwest New Mexico, your donation to the Community Impact Fund is an investment in your community.

Donors Decide

Each year dedicated volunteers provide a rigorous, informed, and fair review for programs that seek United Way funding. Programs are examined for need, for efficiency and effectiveness, and for financial accountability in order to provide quality assurance on behalf of all donors. Donors are also welcome to participate on the Community Investment Team. Additionally, as a service to the donor, those who wish may designate part or their entire gift to any 501(c) 3 human service agency.
